Austin City Limits Festival Enjoyment

First let’s talk about the basics, the location of the Festival. Just around the last limit of the Austin City at Zilker Park is where the Austin City Limits Festival takes place. Spread over 350 acres of public land, Zilker Park is one of the best venues Austin City has to offer. The Park is named after Andrew Jackson Zilker, the benefactor of the land who donated it to the public back in 1917. Since then to now it’s been turned into a beautiful venue that hosts several large-scale events one of which is the Austin City Limits Festival.
This year the Festival will be held on October 5th to 7th and 12th to 14th. Buckle for a fantastic experience loaded with fascinating experiences. The Festival will host more than 140 Musical Acts performed by your favorite and famous artists.

What to Expect at ACL Festival:

The weather conditions at Austin City are severely hot around October but that isn’t stopping anyone from attending the biggest festival around City, just remember to prepare accordingly. Bring loose clothing with comfortable shoes or slippers to walk around grass easily. Keep in mind that ACL is one of the best and wildest festival there is so there are going to be the whole city plus outsiders joining in the crowd.

There will be heavy sweating due to the crowd and heat. So be sure to bring a disposable water bottle with you which you can refill again and again from absolutely free water containers all around the Austin City Limits festival grounds you would not want to get dehydrated and ruining all the fun. Also, you can only bring light stuff with you like basic necessity products, for example, a towel, blanket or small chair to sit per person and small purse to put all the stuff in, but no big backpacks are allowed here at the festival.

It wouldn’t be ACL if it backed down from providing back to back music alternating between various genres from hip-hop, rock, pop, indie and country and a little bit of live acts of the electronic genre. After all Austin City Limits Festival has to live up to its title “Live Music Capital of The World”. Each stage is set to showcase performances on a particular genre and all organized at their best.
With the headliners Paul McCartney, Metallica and Childish Gambino and a few of more acts from Alvvays, Noname, Father John Misty, Hozier, Japanese Breakfast, the Breeders, Nelly, Residente, Camilla Cabello, Travis Scott and many more this year’s ACL are sure to top the charts in no time. There are tons of way to get there. Your first option is to avail the festival’s shuttle services, you can get them easily at the corner of Fourth and Guadalupe Streets at Downtown Republic Square.
